By using this website or placing an order with AZ Beans, you agree to these terms. They cover the basics so we're both clear on how this works.

Who we are

AZ Beans is a sole proprietorship based in Arizona. We sell fresh-roasted coffee and ship within Arizona only.

Orders & payment

All orders are roasted to order and shipped within 2 business days. Payment is due at checkout. We accept card payments via Stripe and crypto payments via BTCPay Server.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — if we do, you'll get a full refund.

Pricing & taxes

All prices are in US dollars and include free shipping. Arizona transaction privilege tax is calculated automatically at checkout.

Subscriptions & prepaid packs

We offer prepaid multi-shipment packs (3-pack and 6-pack). You pay once upfront and receive shipments on a cadence you choose. There are no recurring charges — it's a one-time payment.

You can pause or cancel anytime. If you cancel before all shipments are sent, you'll be refunded for unshipped orders at the prepaid rate. Orders already shipped are charged at the regular one-time price — no gaming the discount.

Shipping

We ship within Arizona only via USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping is free on all orders. See our shipping page for details.

Returns & refunds

Coffee is a perishable food product. Because we roast to order, we can't accept returns on opened coffee. If something is wrong with your order — wrong item, damaged in transit, lost package, or just not right — contact us and we'll make it right. Refunds or replacements are at our discretion.

If your package is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we'll sort it out.

Coffee & consumable goods — important notes

Allergens: Coffee beans are naturally free of major allergens. However, our coffee is roasted and packaged in a facility that may handle other food products. We cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination. If you have a severe food allergy, contact us before ordering.

Caffeine: Coffee contains caffeine, a stimulant. If you are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant, nursing, or have a health condition affected by caffeine, consult your doctor. Decaffeinated options are not currently available.

Roast date & freshness: Every bag is marked with a roast date. For best flavor, we recommend consuming within 30 days of the roast date. Coffee does not spoil or become unsafe after this period, but flavor may diminish.

Grind selection: If you select ground coffee, grind size is matched to a standard drip brewer. We are not responsible for brewing results from non-standard brewing methods. For best results, brew within 2 weeks of receiving your coffee.

Choking hazard: Whole bean coffee can be a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of young children.

Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your password secure. Don't share it. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to do anything illegal, abuse our systems, scrape our content, or try to disrupt service. We may block access at our discretion.

Intellectual property

Site content, branding, and design are owned by AZ Beans. Don't copy or reuse without permission.

Limitation of liability

AZ Beans is a small independent roastery. We roast and ship in good faith. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the products you ordered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or allergic reactions.

Indemnification

You agree not to hold AZ Beans liable for any damages arising from your use of our products — including allergic reactions, caffeine sensitivity, or any other health-related outcome. If you have known sensitivities, consult your doctor before consuming.

Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe and BTCPay Server. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those transactions. We are not responsible for their services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the last update. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes will be resolved in Arizona courts.
